If you normally wear contacts, make sure you have a pair of glasses to wear for the day of the service and at least a couple days after. You should NOT have eyelash extensions. If you do, please make sure extensions are removed at least a week ahead of your permanent eyeliner appointment. You should NOT be using any lash growth serum for approximately one month before your appointment.
Eyelids are made of very thin, tender and often vascular skin. This can be one of the more sensitive areas. Tiger Lily Collective uses topical numbing solutions to minimize discomfort. After the service, some discomfort may be felt, similar to that of a cat scratch or sunburn. It’s our goal to make you comfortable and prepared before, during, and after your appointment.
Yes, it can, when done properly. Permanent eyeliner can be as subtle or dramatic as our client would like. For a more natural look, a lash line enhancement is recommended. Full eyeliner or wing liner will give more of a makeup look.
Duration of an eyeliner service depends on the complexity. Whether the service includes upper or lower lash line only, or both, simple lash line enhancement or winged/smokey full eyeliner, etc. – but the initial session generally can take 75-90 minutes on the quicker end to 3-3.5 hours on the longer end.
Most tattoos, eyeliner included, take almost two weeks for the wound to heal at the surface. During the healing time, you must follow the specific aftercare instructions & products, provided by Tiger Lily Collective, to keep the area clean and protected. You may resume normal skincare and lifestyle routines. After the surface wound heals, the tissue takes longer. That’s why Tiger Lily Collective does the touch up service after a period of 4 to 6 weeks, at a minimum.
